THE YEAR IN REVIEW

1999 (9-2) Appropriately, the season is called "The Big Payback", as the Jaguars would face many of the same opponents that trounced them the year before.  B-CC, Einstein, Poolesville, and Walter Johnson were all teams that were victims of the "payback", as the Jags outscored these opponents 146-6 en route to their first trip to the 2A playoffs.  The Playoffs were not friendly to the Jags, however, as eventual state champion Urbana High School sent them home in the first round.  Northwest would also graduate their first senior class.  The Jags did not lose at home.
