it isn't Northwest Jaguars football...
if it isn't the Northwest Jaguar.
not the Jacksonville Jaguar.
not a generic big cat decal.
not the Clemson paw.
not a Northwestern Wildcat, "N"
not an "NW."
but the Northwest Jaguar.
there is only one Northwest Jaguar emblem.
and it must return.
we know what Penn State's helmet look like, right?
we know what Michigan's helmet look like, right?
we know what the Dallas Cowboys' helmet look like, right?
how 'bout Notre Dame? or The 'U'? or UCLA? or Alabama?....
these symbols stood the test of time because it was never about the coach. it was never about the players. it was about tradition. it was about togetherness. it was about moving forward, yet never forgetting where you came from.
The Northwest Jaguar emblem is the bridge that connected the past to the present.
taking that away was a message of, "the past means nothing."
the past was something special. it went beyond wins and loses. and it was beyond football.
you don't change the flag of a nation just because you have a new president.
it applies in the black hole too.
